Fields of interest: Molecular biology, Biological agents, Biosafety and biosecurity
I would like to collaborate with BAVBD in areas where my expertise in forensic biology, biosecurity, and molecular sciences can support vector-borne disease research and preparedness. This includes:
Forensic applications, such as analyzing biological traces related to vectors and applying forensic methods in ecological or outbreak investigations.
Biosecurity and biosurveillance, including risk assessment, development of safety frameworks, and training on responsible biological practices.
Research and capacity building, through joint projects, publications, and educational activities.
Support for tool evaluation, offering expert input for assessing and validating forensic tools relevant to vector-borne disease monitoring.
