BAVBD contribution:
As a clinician and professor on the subject of Internal medicine in small animals and horses, I am particularly interested in collaborating on the clinical management and internal medicine aspects of vector-borne diseases in companion animals. My focus is on improving early and accurate diagnosis, optimizing therapeutic protocols, and enhancing patient outcomes in diseases such as ehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis, babesiosis, leishmaniosis, and dirofilariasis.
My contribution can be in clinical case reports and participating in multicenter studies to better understand disease progression, prognosis, and treatment outcomes; Collaborating on evidence-based treatment protocols, follow-up strategies, and monitoring of therapeutic efficacy; Supporting continuing education efforts by providing clinical insights for students and veterinarians, particularly in recognizing and managing vector-borne diseases in everyday practice etc..
