Topics of interest: Designing and executing effective field sampling strategies for vector studies
BAVBD contribution:
Mapping vector habitats (e.g. tick habitats, mosquito breeding sites, etc.); studying environmental drivers of vector abundance: vegetation, microclimate, land use, water bodies, soil moisture, etc.; setting up field surveys: traps, environmental sampling, larval sampling, adult trapping; supporting laboratory diagnostics by helping collect vector samples, ensure sampling is representative; statistical analysis etc.
