BAVBD contribution:

I am interested in contributing to collaborative research on the epidemiology, surveillance, prevention, and clinical relevance of tick-borne diseases in the Balkans. My current work includes tick and biological sample collection, serological investigations, epidemiological data analysis, and knowledge, attitudes, and practices surveys among medical students to assess awareness of tick-borne diseases. I am also strongly committed to improving education on these infections among students, healthcare professionals, and the general population through evidence-based training, workshops, and awareness campaigns. Through BAVBD, I would like to support multidisciplinary and regional collaboration that links research, education, surveillance, and public health action to strengthen prevention, early recognition, diagnosis, and management of tick-borne diseases.
